Mudeford Phoenix Tournament 2026 – A Fantastic First Tournament

What a weekend!

On Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th June, Mudeford Phoenix proudly welcomed teams from across the region for our annual summer tournament. Across two days of exciting matches, we were treated to outstanding football, incredible teamwork and a brilliant community atmosphere.

From our youngest players taking to the pitch for the first time to fiercely competitive finals, every game was played with passion, determination and respect. The quality of football on display was a credit to every club that attended, and it was wonderful to see so many players enjoying the game in the right spirit.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to every club, player, coach, volunteer, referee and supporter who joined us over the weekend. Your enthusiasm, sportsmanship and support helped make the tournament such a memorable occasion.

Events like this simply wouldn't be possible without the fantastic football community we have, and we are incredibly grateful that so many teams chose to spend their weekend with us.

A Word from Our Chairman

"What an incredible weekend for Mudeford Phoenix. I'd like to personally thank every club that attended, along with our volunteers, referees, sponsors and supporters who all played their part in making the tournament such a success.

The football was fantastic throughout both days, but what impressed me most was the sportsmanship, respect and enjoyment shown by everyone involved. Seeing hundreds of young players enjoying the game in such a positive environment is exactly what grassroots football is all about.
